Living in a guesthouse Yokohama to budget cuts largely accommodation for tourists can enjoy their vacation without having to worry too much about expenses.

Yokohama is a relaxing place and a good getaway from the fast life and business in Tokyo. The city has a rich history and culture. In history we know that the port was first opened to world trade after Japan's self-isolation, and it remains a maritime city until today. This explains the diverse population found in Yokohama. It houses the largest Chinatown in Japan and Asia (also one of the largest in the world), which is filled with hundreds of restaurants famous for their dishes that are a product of mixtures of Japanese and Chinese styles of cooking. Also a great sight to see is the Nippon Maru, a majestic sailing ship that now serves as a museum.

Japan has an efficient public transport system connecting cities like Yokohama in metropolitan Tokyo and other major cities. The Japanese are known to prefer to travel by public transport such as trains rather than travel in private vehicles. Train stations are always crowded, but this is never an obstacle to the train operators, public transport Japanese are known for their punctuality and good service after all.

International travelers arriving in Japan through Narita International Airport in Tokyo and Yokohama, it can be by train, bus or car. Riding the airport limousine bus is the most easy and convenient to travel to Yokohama from the airport. The bus leaves every hour from the airport and take you to the center of Yokohama in two hours. Travelling in a car rented at the airport is also a reasonable option as expressways in Japan are well-marked in Japanese and English.

While in Yokohama, trains are the most convenient form of transport. Only a few people drive cars in the city, most prefer to walk and enjoy the breeze from the bay. This is why Yokohama is a good place to visit even though you're on a tight budget. Staying in a guest house in Yokohama and is much, and you do not need a rental car to see all the attractions - Yokohama is best explored by just walking around.
